Reservations
Making reservations are highly recommended. You may make reservations up to three days in advance. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. You may make a reservation by calling or stopping by the front desk. Walk-ins are accepted on a space available basis. Nursery staff has the right to refuse walk-ins if the nursery is full.

If reservations have not been made, the nursery may be closed at the discretion of the attendant.

VA State Statute
You cannot bring children other than your own to the nursery. The parent(s) must remain in the club during the time that the child is registered in the nursery.

Checking In - Checking Out
Parents are responsible for the checking in and checking out of their children. The nursery staff reserves the right to ask you as the parent to show identification at the point of checkout. When checking your child in please let the attendants know of any special needs your child may have (allergies, potty training, needing to be fed, etc).

At the discretion of the attendant, if a child is disruptive, the parent will be requested to assist in calming the child or remove the child from the nursery.

Food, Snacks, Drinks
Make sure your child is fed before visiting the nursery. Special arrangements cannot be made to have your child eat outside of the nursery. No food or snacks are allowed in the nursery, however, baby snacking will be permitted. Drinks will be permitted in a “spill-proof” cup only.

Provisions Needed
Infants and toddlers will need to be provided with diapers, pull ups, wipes, extra change of clothes and a spill-proof cup or bottle. Your child’s diaper bag, cups or bottles must be clearly labeled with their first and last name. Labels are provided by nursery staff. Your child must wear “pull ups” when being potty trained. Shoes are to be worn at all times.

Illness
The nursery reserves the right to refuse your child entrance into the nursery if they show signs of illness. These signs include, but are not limited to the following: rash, diarrhea, coughing, fever, thick and/or colored nasal discharge, head lice, any communicable disease (i.e. Strep throat, Chicken Pox, Impetigo, Conjunctivitis) or has vomited in the past 24 hours.

If your child has been confined at home with a communicable disease or an extended illness, a note may be requested before allowing your child to return to the nursery. Re-admittance is at the discretion of the nursery staff. Please understand that these rules are implemented for the well being of all the children and nursery staff.
