CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
2 X 4 Steps
A high intensity, low impact class using one or multiple steps.
Aquafit
Low impact, high intensity water aerobic workout.
Basics
A great beginner workout that combines low impact moves, muscle work and stretching.
Cardio
An aerobic class in which both high & low impact moves are demonstrated by the instructor.
Circuit Workit
"Unison" circuits of cardio followed by strength exercises to improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance.
Express
A shortened fitness class, usually 30 minutes.
Havin-A-Ball
Stability ball is used to incorporate both strength, stretch, and cardio moves.
Low Impact
A class using low impact moves in which one foot remains on the floor at all times.
Mix it Up/Dance
Easy to follow cardio and dance: swing, latin, disco and party moves.
Muscle
The muscle conditioning segment of class utilizing weights, bands and balls.
Muscle Conditioning
Class using weights, bands and balls to strengthen the lower & upper body.
Pilates Mat
Movements to strengthen the core muscles based on Pilates.
Power Yoga
A challenging constant flow of yoga postures, bringing breath, balance, strength & flexibility together.
Step
A high intensity, low impact class using the step.
Stretch for Strength
Movements to strengthen and
stretch the muscles.
TBC (Total Body Conditioning)
A high intensity workout that incorporates intervals of cardio & strength.
TGIF Stretch and Relax
Your end of the week de-stress class.
X-Training
A challenging cardiovascular workout incorporating hi/lo, sport moves, step, slide and/or stability balls.
Yoga
Stress break for muscle tone, posture, flexibility, and stress relief. Based on ancient art of Hatha (physical) yoga.
Zumba
This dance based class is low impact but has high energy moves.
