Group Fitness Fee-based Classes

BRSC welcomes both members and non-members to join in the huge assortment of classes on our schedule. Many interests are covered for all ages: Tai Chi, Line Dancing, and Self-Defense to name a few. These classes run for weeks at a time, but if your schedule doesn’t allow you to sign up for a whole session, drop-ins are welcome to all classes. Please note that at least five people need to sign up to form a class. Drop in prices are $12.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members unless otherwise noted.

BEGINNING TAI CHI
Relieve stress and tension, improve circulation of blood, oxygen and Chi, increase energy levels, improve coordination, balance and flexibility, improve strength and mobility in joints, bones and tendons, increase focus, concentration, and awareness. Exercises can be performed sitting or standing.

When:  Wednesdays, July 10 – Aug. 13, 2019 (6 weeks)
Time:    6:45pm  
Cost:     6-week: $60 members ($12 drop in), $72 non-members ($15 drop in)

GENTLE YOGA
This gentle yoga class will explore some of the foundations of yoga practice. Breathing, posture, poses, and relaxation techniques will be introduced.

When: Tuesdays, July 2 to Aug. 6, 2019 (6 weeks)
Time: 1:30pm
Cost: 6-week progam: $60 members ($12 drop in), $72 non-members ($15 drop in)

LINE DANCE
Everyone can line dance and NO PARTNER is required! The class is for beginners to advanced participants. All music genres will be used — it’s not just country music anymore! 

When: Mondays, May 6 to July 1, 2019
New 6-week session will start July 15 to Aug. 19, 2019
Time: 7:30 pm
Cost: 8-week program:  $75 members   $90 non-members
