Group Fitness Fee-Based Classes

BRSC welcomes both members and non-members to join in the huge assortment of classes on our schedule. Many interests are covered for all ages: Tai Chi, Line Dancing, and Self-Defense to name a few. These classes run for weeks at a time, but if your schedule doesn’t allow you to sign up for a whole session, drop-ins are welcome in all classes.

Drop-in fees:   Members $12    Non-members $15, unless otherwise noted

Please note that at least five people need to sign up to form any class. No make-ups and no prorations are offered.

Classes for Adults

Beginning Tai Chi
Relieve stress and tension, improve circulation of blood, oxygen and Chi, increase energy levels, improve coordination, balance and flexibility, improve strength and mobility in joints, bones and tendons, increase focus, concentration, and awareness. Exercises can be performed sitting or standing.
When   Wednesdays, Sept. 5 to Oct. 24, 2018
Time  6:30pm–7:30pm
Cost  8-week session:  Members $75   Non-members $90

Gentle Yoga
This gentle yoga class will explore the foundations of yoga practice. Breathing, posture, poses, and relaxation techniques will be introduced.
When  Tuesdays, Aug. 7 to Oct. 2, 2018 (no class on 8/28/18)
Time  1:30pm–2:30pm
Cost  8-week session:  Members $75   Non-members $90

Line Dance
Everyone can line dance and NO PARTNERS required! The class is for beginners to advanced participants. All music genres will be used — it’s not just country music anymore!
When  Mondays, July 30 to October 1, 2018
(no class on August 27 and September 3)
Time  7:30 pm – 8:30pm
