Annually Fall - Spring
The Curl-Burke Swim Club Stroke and Turn Clinic is designed for the summer season competitive swimmer who wishes to improve their skills in the winter and spring off-season. Intensive drilling and skill work is emphasized during the hour-long sessions.
This multi-week Sunday program incorporates the needed skills for a swimmer to remain competitive throughout their summer career. Each one hour session will focus on the technique and refinement of skills to help participants achieve their goals.
Participant placement is determined by the coaching staff. Should alternate arrangements be needed, every effort will be made to find a suitable BRSC swimming program for the swimmer.
Curl-Burke welcomes our local Summer Leagues Teams to join us during the off-season for a winter of swimming.

*The Competitive Swim Lesson Program is designed for those swimmers who are not quite ready for the Stroke and Turn Clinic, and will benefit from a small group environment. Basic Stroke skills are the focus for this session. Placement in the program is at the discretion of the instructor/coach.
There are a few key items to keep in mind:
Scheduled breaks: 11/30, 12/21, 12/28, 4/5, 4/12
(There are inclement weather days built into the schedule)
Regular attendance is an important part to achieving success
Good equipment is an asset to your swimmer. Goggles, suits, and fins are essential.
Please check in at the front desk each session and be on time.
As a participant of the Stroke and Turn Program at Burke Racquet and Swim Club, you are invited to stay and wait for your swimmer(s), however, we encourage you to leave younger siblings at home, as an hour is a very long time to keep the little ones entertained and they may not wander around the building.
We have an “Adults Only” locker-room as well as a “swimming” locker room. Our swimmers may only use the “swimming” locker room.
