Learning to swim is a valuable skill to learn. Swimming is one of the few activities which can be pursued throughout life.
Good swimming is a skill which takes many hours of practice and although it may look effortless, it requires much thought and physical power. A swimmer’s improvement will be measured not only by the times and finishes of their races, but also with the amount of time practicing the skill correctly and the effort put forth by the body and the mind.

After much thought and research, Burke Racquet & Swim Club has decided to extend our afternoon programming hours to 7:00pm, therefore our programming hours for closure will be Monday through Friday, 3:30-7:00pm, effective immediately.
For the past 12 months we have gathered attendance data during the open swim hours and have concluded that in order to preserve our "open swim" option, we must amend our operational hours.
Thank you for your continued support.
